Jello Biafra and the GSM as well as the Dead Kennedy's. Memories.

where did you get JB&GSM from? Didn't think it'd been released yet.

No, it is released on the 20th of October I read today. here are 4 free tracks on their MySpace page, check it out, they are rather good.

I have been listening to No Rest so far today, haven't listened to that album for a while so I thought I would give it a leisurely spin, I live by the mantra 'NMA every day'!

Also, I have just recently come accross an old 'Red Guitars' tape so I might give that play later.
has it got be with me on it

Revisiting Minor Threat and Fugazi - fucking awesome - especially Fugazi.............

And have discovered the Magnolia Electric Company (via a gig at the ICA last week which blew me utterly away) and am completely smitten.  Jason Molina is a genius to rival our own boy...............

Quadrophenia.  Mainly because I've got the line "the sea is a place where a man can feel he's the only soul in the world thats real" in my head, and can't remember the precise lyrics.  And I'm reminded that Entwistle was a blindingly good bass player.

Totally agree that's one of the best.  I know I've got it on tape but could only find the cover!  Time to replace them all on CD I think.
