Aye, it helps when the source material is awesome.

What does everyone use, by the way?

I found Reaper pretty good for the money. I like the fact that it is fully functional "nag-ware" so you can really try it out before you commit.

I use Garageband, which made it pretty easy to add strings / drums etc.

I'm an Ableton Live (ab)user myself. Tried Reason years ago but found it difficult to record and arrange stuff although the instruments and effects were very good.

Although I definitely wouldn't claim to "have time on my hands", I didn't want to miss out on another opportunity. Already had to reject the "All Consuming Fire" remix competition back then due to relocation shambles, and that painful decision is haunting me ever since. So this time it had to be...
