This is monumental news...first Antipodean tour after 45 years together ...and playing good size 1000+ capacity venues too which is a pretty impressive first outing!...I have in-laws in Newcastle NSW so im seriously thinking about coming down to Sydney and killing 2 birds...a word of caution though..they had dates booked in Australia in 2009 (inc Newcastle) which I planned a trip around and were subsequently cancelled..I don't know the reason...I doubt lighting can strike twice though...Great news anyway.

Their then manager died and the tour was cancelled!  I sincerely hope history does not repeat itself!

Will be getting tickets for Perth.

First New Model Army gig was Reading Festival in 1989.  This was followed by around 20 gigs around the UK before emigrating to Australia in 2010.  I've been hoping there would eventually be an Australian tour but as the years ticked by that hope diminished.   My surprise at seeing this was monumental.
