Just noticed that on eBay there's a double room for sale in Manchester Piccadilly on the night of the Ritz gig i.e 16 Nov. Currently £31

I never even knew you could "sell" hotel rooms on ebay  :o

While we're on the subject....how pricey are the hotel rooms in Manchester on this date??!! Can't find anything under a ton... :( Any suggestions anyone?

2 years ago there were good bargains on eBay for travel lodges and premier inns but people have cottoned onto it now. Last year we had a 3 night weekend family room in Morecombe for under £35 and 2 rooms outside Edinburgh cost us £30. I've also bought a few last minute ones for an overnight break.

The room on eBay is now £41 but with only 2 weeks to the gig I doubt if you'll get anything decent and closer cheaper than £70+.
