Once in a blue moon the guys chuck a cover into the setlist - just to surprise us all I guess :-\ Off the top of my head I can remember "We've Gotta Get Out Of This Place", "Gimme Shelter" and most recently "Till The End Of The Day". I also think I may have heard a Ramones cover and an X Ray Specs song but I'm afraid my memory is not telling me if that's true or if I've made it up :-[ I'd be interested to know of any others or if anyone can help my memory :)
Seeing as NMA produce quality across the whole gamut of human experience lets allow ourselves one choice from both sides of the coin.
Heads: Black Me Out - Against Me

Tails: All You Need Is Love - The Beatles

I've included links just in case anyone hasn't heard the songs before.
So what would you pick if you had a say?
:-*

So the Ramones one was Sheena - thank you Sir :-*
Rod Stewart :o :o :o Blimey I didn't see that one coming. Was it a "faithful" version or messed about with? I can't quite imagine what that sounded like :)
Interesting variety of genres popping up reggae to pop to dub to rock via folk. Shows what a diverse bunch we are

Oooh, tough one, this.
Heads - "Territory" by Sepultura, for a nice bit of circularity (if that's a word), and I reckon NMA would be all over that song like a rash;
Tails - "Amputee" by Oceansize. This would be in complete contrast to "Territory", but I think would still be fantastic.

OK... 'The Story Of The Blues Part One' by The Mighty Wah! Dodgy video but a great song...

Or, alternatively, 'I Think We're Alone Now'... just so we can all dance like that in the pit...

Wasn't the first version of First Cut Is The Deepest by P. P. Arnold in the 60's?
-
After a bit of research and a few minutes of boredom I've found it was written by Cat Stevens but first released by PP Arnold in May 67 and a few others ;D ;D

Free fallin- Tom Petty and 100mph by the Stereophonics. Think theyd pull both off pretty well.
-
"Love her madly" and, or "LA Woman" by the Doors.
-
I'm not sure if it would work or not but I'd love to hear what the band could do with Eminem's "Lose Yourself".
They do such masterful work with story songs and how they build and build with tension.
-
I think they could do a good job with "Learn to fly", Foo fighters.
