Evening.
Pleased to confirm that we've organised an After Gig get-together on March 7th after the Unity Works gig in Wakefield.
Come over to THE HOP after the gig for classic punk, new wave, alternative, indie, goth etc from around 11pm.
We've git the place til 1am, but those nice people at THE HOP say that if the place is buzzing and people are enjoying themselves and buying beer, we can have it until maybe 2am.
So 2am then..!

See you there and thanks for taking the time to organise this for us Lawrence.
Cheers

Sod it, it'd be worth the trip just for one of your punk goth discos Lawrence. Can you do one in Northampton after the Roadmenders gig?
-
I won't be in Northampton unfortunately... :(
-
Fantastic LCG...I will aspire to an early appearence for a good wiggle and will attempt to remain exuberant until 2am. But no promises! Thanks man! Jezza. 8)

I will be at gig. Maybe after as well if all are invited. I get a bit nervous with big crowds in small areas especially if you have to converse with lots of people. I may get stoned though if I can get it. Then be relaxed.
-
All are indeed invited. I think the room we've booked holds 200 (Subhumans are playing there first), but the whole venue holds 500!
-
Cheers for organizing LCG

Promises to be a great night and for a great cause...
-
Looking forward to a great night and as you say Lawrence for a great cause!
-
PLEASE NOTE - CHANGE OF VENUE FOR AFTER-GIG GATHERING!
We're now holding this in the actual Unity Works itself, which is, of course, the same venue as the gig.
This decision was made so that maximum support is provided to the WBHH event and cause/s involved.
It's still free of charge and will be from 11pm to 2am.
Thanks to The Hop for originally agreeing to host us - by way of thanks and apology for moving the event, we're encouraging you to get along to The Hop for pre-gig fuel and food!
See you in Wakefield.
-
LCG, these shows seriously need a live webcam thing for those of us who can't make it... ;)
The two I've been to have been such ******* great nights out...

WAKEFIELD AFTER-GIG GATHERING!
Punk, Indie, Goth, Alternative, 2-Tone, New Wave...you know the score by now!
We're holding this in the actual Unity Works itself, which is, of course, the same venue as the gig.
Its upstairs in the Minor Hall, with a capacity of around 150-170, I understand.
It's free of charge and will be from 11pm to 2am. Get up there early!
See you in Wakefield.

We're planning on a bucket collection at the After Show on Saturday night so that we add a few quid to the cause for which the whole event has been organised.
As they said in 1984, Dig Deep for the Miners!
Thanks - see you there!
-
Hey, we wish you all a great gig everyone there. Tomorrow! That's so soon. :)
My wife's very sick now, having 38c° fever. We couldn't afford to this one either, but hope we could do one of the early Dec gigs this year. Cheers!

"Hi Lawrence
It was good to meet you yesterday after our many emails.
It was probably even better to meet you again today when you hand over the post-gig bucket collection! I’ve now counted all those generous contributions and they total £172.51!
I’ll deliver it to Barbara of the Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign next Saturday - meantime, a really big thanks to you all.
Regards
Sue

Thanks to all who came along after the gig and those who contributed to our Bucket Collection.
