Title: Digital music (electro, DnB, industrial, dub, experimental) anyone?
Post by: Rusco on October 17, 2017, 09:42:27 PM
"Drum machines don't have a soul" someone said...   ;)

Just thought to ask are there anyone into digital stuff here. Some people sure... Perhaps we could drop some excellent tunes and interesting artists here?

Cheers,

Not really my thing tho I like a bit  of the scientist,  Lee scratch Perry.  I'm currently into she wants revenge I suppose there ebm or dark wave , I don't mind the odd tune Bob mould experimented with.  Maybe not the stuff you were looking for

Oh, I'm indeed into Lee Scratch Perry. His collaboration with the Orb for example. Scientist is quite similar sounding to Keith Hudson and Mad Professor.  :)

Well I admit I'm a bit (too) oldschool to be familiar with all of the hundreds of genre and style names. Digital stuff serves to me sometimes as kind of "another" option. Maybe if I'd like to chill out a bit when doing something on my own. I have some friends to share the thing with and most of them are into jazzy and "weird" music things, I admit.

Sorry Rusco. It leaves me as cold as a cold thing. I switch off automatically to it, bar the odd very occasional song. Im too set in my musical ways.
