Title: Wax Futures

Managed to catch this band last night in the Albert Shed (Telford). During the warm up - the drummer recognised my NMA t-shirt and hoodie. He got up from behind his drum kit, walked straight towards me, and shook my hand, saying 'New Model Army!!!...we were meant to front for them a while back but the timing wasnt great'. A long NMA appreciation convo ensued pre and post gig.

Signed album and a few beers  with the band afterwards. What a good bunch of blokes.

It's nice when you meet a fellow NMA fan out of the blue and end up having a nice chat with a stranger...   :)

yes, a cool story and some nice funky tunes there.

i had a good and long conversation once travelling by train, because a woman noticed my hoodie and she was like: "oh, i liked them but lost them out of sight, do they still exist?"
