I was there, and it was bloody brilliant! Also agree about a lot of the other bands not even being a worthy support act for NMA... I lasted five minutes watching **** Sparrer, for example. I know they have a following, and they probably stand for something I don't understand, etc etc blah blah blah... But yeah.
NMA, plus the JS&DW acoustic set, were the main reasons we went to Rebellion. We saw a lot of good bands we hadn't previously heard of, but most of them were well down the bill and playing afternoon slots. One of the best sets I saw was King Prawn, who were playing at 6pm... should've been much later!
