Monty Python songs, they are funny. And I expect them to be. NMA songs aren't, and I don't expect them to be.

Humor in music can be dry, droll, wry, sarcastic, ironic...

You cen feel sarcastic and ironic bits in songs like "Christian Militia", "51st state", "Stupid questions", 125MPH", Ten commandments", Someone like Jesus", Today is a good day", "Seven times"... 


Comedians are often very serious and depressive people, used to not expressing how they really feel

Peter Sellers, Robin Williams :'(...

I've heard JS make wry comments over the years

Indeed...he often says funny things between the songs at the french gigs (he speaks french rather well too 8))
