There's one thing I have in my mind for this year. It's about a health problem I have because of the cigs. I get too often a (what's that you get sometimes when having a flu in English? Sinusitis?) It gets extended with me and I have to stop it with antibiotics which isn't good neither. So I think I should smoke much less.
Another thing is saving money.
Rusco, get on the quitting cigarettes thing ASAP. I know how hard it can be... I was never one of those 'self-hating' smokers. I loved them all, from the first to the last, and I genuinely miss them. But I had a heart attack a couple of months ago and seeing as I'm not particularly overweight, only in my mid 40's and my diet isn't very bad I can only attribute it to the smokes...
Nowadays I'm on the e-cigs almost exclusively... yes, I admit, there have been a couple of slips, particularly if I've had a drink, but I can really feel it the next day and not in a good way. But the e-cigs do give smoking-like satisfaction... put it like this, I forgot to bring an e-cig to Nottingham last month so (somewhat shamefully) I did buy a packet of ten... fortunately Shush gave me a spare e-cig that he brought along and I quite happily puffed on that one all night long, never opened the packet... in fact, I'm not quite sure where that packet is nowadays, it's probably lying around in my flat somewhere...
Go for it, Rusco... there isn't a single person on the planet who can honestly say that they didn't feel better for it.
