Ah, if only Billy had asked NMA to share the bill for his US tour! Apparently, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts opened for this Billy's US tour. A few years ago, Killing Joke opened for Billy's concerts.

If Billy Idol, NMA and Killing Joke were on the same bill then I'd quite happily sell a liver to see that show.

Still very interested to know how this colaberation happend -- please Viv, break silence, is Idol an NMA fan?, or just sought out a well respected great sounding band sufficiently less famous than himsen?
