Well dunno .. Were they? They didn't play Burning Season did they?
This is where we go to - to the blue of the ocean
On the 30 westbound to the diamond water
Lost out in the white waves - salt purification
Bright eyes and breathless - this is how Love feels

No, they did not play Burning Season. Positive review, but what's the point. NMA don't need this kind of rcomendations.

Why?  I think I'm missing something?

This band don't need fake reviews, even if they good and positive. Their music speaks for itself. Not some reviewer who haven't seen band that night.

Oh, well, each to their own  I guess.  Personally I think that since everyone seems to agree that they are always criminally overlooked by the press a good review is a very good thing indeed, and something we should all be pleased about - doesn't happen often!

The reviewer probably meant See You in Hell - an excusable mistake I think, and the review is definitely fair and positive. I for one I'm happy to see them reviewed.

One miss quoted song title aint so bad, at least they used a pic from the gig! I'm tryin' to figure what song he got meesed up with, Rumour n Rapture maybe or See you In Hell? To be fair who knows...... At least it doesn't piss n moan about "fat goths/over weight neanderthols/flooded toilets/the lack of free booze/no promo merch/coke headed record execs/rainy northern summers/poncing change fer a pint/lack of "hit" singles/Simon Cowell"........ I'll take it as a result myself....... Bit like the Q feature, quite complimentary about the resolute anti-fashion and loyal following making the band a truly viable concern with note worthy and always intelligent things to say!
Result, if it sells 10 more tickets or cd's to folks who might not have bothered, well I say it's a good thing. NMA won't be selling their collective souls any time soon, so everyones there for the right reasons eh?

I'm pleased to see it there too, because The Morning Star is read by a particular "audience" that may not otherwise be exposed to NMA. Actually, a friend and colleague of mine who sits on the M Star board drew it to my attention and asked me to publicise / retweet it etc for a reciprocal effect. They also covered the 30th Anniv Gigs in London last year and have shown a genuine interest and like for the band. As Stoney says, if it helps sell an extra few cd's, gig tkts etc, then it has to be positive (especially in light of recent developments). BTW Stoney, which Q article are you referring to?  :)
