Well I just hope that the Insurance company dont drag their heels on this. What a nightmare but like everyone says at least no one was hurt in the fire. I know instruments are important to musicians but musicians are more important to their fans. Im sure all the family would agree with that. Best wishes to all the band and people behind the scenes for a happy end to 2011 and a great 2012.

I just heard about it - so very, very sorry!

The most important thing is, of course, that nobody was injured - but still...I know I can't even imagine to begin how devastating this has to be.

It is good to see that everyone is still in good spirits - here is hoping that at least the insurance company won't add to the drama.

Take care!

Heard this sad news on Christmas day but first time back on here since. Many condolences to the band and others who lost stuff.  :(

I was wearing the latest tour t-shirt when I heard, the 5 drumming skeletons emerging from flames.... seems strangely prophetic that design now.....  :-\

I lost my keyboard, amp and lights in a flood a few years back, though the insurance paid out I could never replace that feeling of conncection with the keyboard I had when playing gigs etc.... the memories remain but we evolve I guess.....

Best wishes to all, straight on for the days ahead.... I think thats how it goes.....  :)
Here's twenty quid. Buy yourselves a big can of sticky-sticky, and **** off to Noddyland.

when I first saw that news and watched the video, I couldn`t find the right words to post here
but what JS wrote later made sense for me and so I wish NMA and all people involved in this best luck for the future

And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

Sad news indeed but like Justin said in one of his most moving songs...:
"But from high on the high hills it all looks like nothing

haven't been on the board in weeks, too much other stuff going on, but this is tragic news.

Terrible news but what a response from Justin. Was at the Manchester gig a few weeks ago, awesome as ever, my favourite that night was States Radio. Best band in the world for 30 odd years and long may they continue.
