Charity Auction For Fire Fighters - Justins Salvaged Guitar
« on: January 22, 2012, 06:27:17 PM »
Auction in aid of The Firefighter's Charity

This is the Fender 12 String that was used on Wierd Sister and various other bits and bobs since. Please place your bids in posts below, starting bid £100.  Bidding ends with highest posted bid securing the item at midnight (UK time) on Monday January 30th. Please note that the buyer must collect, or send a reliable person to collect this unique and authentic item as it is fragile. It will be fine if put up on a wall as an artwork, but will not withstand too much rough handling. It has been cleaned and varnished and has a provenance label. 100% of funds raised go to The Firefighter's Charity.'

Thank you!

Always wait until the end of the auction before showing your hand, bidding early only drives the price up, I was told.

Sod it
£190

I really don't have the money to bid on this, but how do you manage to always remind me than besides music and lyrics, you're actually a bunch of amazing human beings ? :)

That's a bit sneaky playing the "wedding card" I may have to propose to get equal footing in the justification stakes  :o

since I live in the US and have no way to collect the prize, I will just donate cash instead....I'll donate $50 USD and challenge others American fans to match this amount.

Apologies for interrupting the flow of the auction thread, but hats off to you sir / madam!  Extremely nice gesture!
