Wifey will also be coming, I will also be meeting 2 friends there who are not really alternative types, so am not sure whether they'll take to this or not.

Cheers

I'm going, as is Nicky Gee and Erekose (Steven) as far as I know.

Good to hear you got some n00bs coming Jack!

Steven is indeed going, as it's very near where he lives for once!  ;D

Unfortunately the small one isn't allowed - nearly managed to persuade the pub owner, but in the end he said he didn't want to risk it.  So close too!

I'll be around from mid afternoon I expect, so does anyone know any good boozers in Gillingham in which to pass a few pre-gig hours?

I wouldn't get your hopes raised - it's not the nicest of towns - will try to rack my brains though and see if I can remember one.

In fact the Beacon Court is probably one of the better ones anyway!

Definitely going, think I should be there around 5 to 6, depending on flight delays, the M25, my navigating skills (often poor, even over short distances) etc..... looking forward to it :)

Donia's coming with me too, or at least I bought a ticket for her as well so she'd better be ;)

Tottenham Neil also coming as far as I'm aware.

See you all there!

Gotta love our public transport system.  I have the following choice

Gillingham is 25 miles away from me, so I can drive there in, say 30 mins, but can't drink obviously.

OR

Be able to drink by getting a train, but with a journey time of 2 hours and 10  minutes!   I can get to Brussels quicker!

I think grrrr... is the appropriate noise at this point.

I'd like to go even though it's midweek and about a 4 hour drive.

As it's my daughters 16th birthday that day I don't think it would go down to well if I went out.

For those that are going have a safe journey and enjoy the night

Cheers
Is is a crime to believe in something different?

I could half-solve this by coming to pick you up from Canterbury once I've checked into my hotel, so around 4/5 I would imagine. The downside is you'd have to join me for a few pre-gig bevvies. Oh, and you'd have to find your own way back afterwards.

In fact, and maybe better, I booked a twin room at my hotel as that's what was cheapest. You're welcome to the second bed if you want it, as long as you don't snore like you did in 'Dam...

My god man... a seismologist's convention stormed straight into town after your performance!   ;D

That's very decent of you - let me just double-check with the boss that I didn't have any school run duties - I can get the parents to take little-un over night, but they can't do the school run.

Either way I asked the other boss, the work one, (me) if I could have the afternoon off, and reluctantly he said yes - he's a bit of a miserable bastard...  so I'll join you in the pub no matter what, even if I have to switch to Coke after a couple!
