Quite some distortion in the bass sound.
in the early years of NMA, bass line was leading.
sometimes it made me think of JJ Burnel's way of playing.
it was a very significant sound.

Robert Trujillo would be a nice choice, i really liked his bass style for Infectious Grooves and Suicidal Tendencies:

You do know that Robert Trujillo is the 'new' bass player with Metallica? He has been with them for the last few years.

He got a cool million dollar signing on fee aswell. But then he was lured away from bein' Ozzy's bass player...... His stuff with SUICIDAL TENDENCIES was always top notch aswell. He's great player, but a bit too etuned top really shine in Metallica. Way too much bottom end to really hear what he's doing half the time........  :-[
