NO RED SEAS / a benefit compilation for Sea Shepherd
« on: March 14, 2012, 09:13:37 PM »
"Featuring new and established artists from 20 countries; principally from the neoclassical, neofolk, and dark ambient genres. Many of them have donated previously unreleased material for this cause, and a number have also provided their own personal statements in support of it in their track information. The battle to end this barbaric practise is slowly gaining ground, and we hope that the proceeds of this compilation will contribute towards the final closure of this senseless and unnecessary slaughter".

thx for the link. It's good to know that a lot of people are with Sea Shepherd and do something.

Gojira did a few tracks for Sea Shepherd , they wanted to put the songs on a EP album but they had problem with computer. They lost some stuff but the EP will be available soon I hope and all the money will go to Sea Shepherd. From this EP we can only hear one song ==>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBB5W2nQ8Ms

I have a painting that I'd like to sell for Sea Shepherd (the money will go to the association), i put my painting on FB telling the price of it. A lot of people click on 'Like' but no one was interested to buy it ...pfff..

Merci Stephanie,
I did not know about Gojira´s interest in this. It is a band I have been listening to lately.

Maybe you would like to contact No Red Seas via their Facebook and do something about your picture :)

My old friend ZOLI from IGNITE (California hardcore band) used to do alot of volunteer work for Sea Shepherd. I'm sure there was a live e.p. released a few years back solely in benefit of the charity. I'm not sure, but I think Zoli used go off on the Sea Shepherd vessels and on active duty.......
