I am gutted that I am going to miss this gig.  Had my tickets for weeks.  Went out on the work's Christmas do on Thursday and tripped, landing flat on my face but managing to break my fall with my hands and knees.  I've busted my knee and badly bruised my ribs in the process.    In agony so sadly, standing is not an option.

At least the wife can still go as the brother-in-law is taking her.  I'll just sit at home with the kids and painkillers.

Ah, mate -  that's shocking. Done the smashed up face thing myself a couple of times but thankfully never before an NMA gig.

Ah well, seen them plenty of times at the Rock City so I'll just have to wait until next year I guess.
