The "whoo hoo" bit makes me laugh sometimes but it's better than the "shananana nana" part in Autum ;-)

It's not half as annoying ;)

I just don't know how anyone can possibly not like the "shananana" bit from Autumn  ;D
The "whoohoo" bits  of March in September are entertaining    :)
I liked it when first heard it and think it will grow as well. Good to see the lyrics posted here - powerful as always

It sounds like something of the love of hopeless causes to me, slight fate/bad old world vibe, ******* top!

Honestly, that new song didn't suprised me like, for example, Today is a Today did when i first heard it at Elysee Montmartre before the TIAGD CD.

March in September to me sounds like NMA; with the song Today is a good day i think people who like Metal or heavy rock were surprised but glad to hear such a sounds in NMA (guitar riff and especially the bass line that start the tiltle)

I love it !!!

"Autumn" is a good song but the "shanana" bit is a bit grating yeah, here it works somewhat better.

Love Marshall's riff on the chorus :D

I've listened to "March in September" 10 or 15 times now ;) and yeah it sounds like classic NMA, i enjoy particularly the obssessive guitar bit playing endlessly at the end, it gives a quite epic and haunting feel to the song, isn't it?

well first time i heard "Today is a good day" i thought "Cool, a new song from New Metallicarmy!" ha ha :D

Today Is A Good Day is a driving Northern Soul bassline as far I'm concerned. The guitar that compliments is kinda metal I spose, but not the bass. It's a classic N.M.A. style song to me. I think I Love The World is more metal to be honest. Marsh's playing has undoubtably added a huge chunk of ROCK to N.M.A.' roll......... There's always been a massive lump of Northern Soul n Motown in the music. I don't think every one hears it and recognises it, but it's what get's yer feet shuffling about......... 8)

But the best damned thing is NMA are so difficult to categorise, and without opening that debate all over again, that's why when they preview a new album song on tour there are so many opinions. It really is catchy and I keep going back and watching the Melkweg video of MIS on You Tube. Can't wait for the album and the tour dates in May now.

Yeah, with you on that Pazza - first thing I did on the PC yesterday morning was watch the vid...then breakfast and prezzie opening! I think it's an absolute belter...just love the drum beat in particular (I remember JS saying NMA's song-writing often starts with building a tune around Michael's drum beat).

Really can't wait for the new album and tours.

Have to agree with Barty on that one. I,ve had it going through my head since 22/12. killer drum work. remindss me of Inheritance, another with  dominating drum work.
