For me, today, finding out that a band that you've loved for a long time, seen live many times and genuinely thought had split up is, in fact, still together, there's a new tune on Youtube and they have a new album out in a few weeks!   :D

In this case, it's Alkaline Trio, new album out at the end of August and tour dates imminent.  Here's the new track if anyone's interested...

Yay me!  Just landed a new job (that pays quite a bit more than i've been making over the last year or two)...  I can now start making plans for the rest of the year in terms of forthcoming gigs and fun stuff!

No longer sleepy 2 mb download (uploading something - forget it), 100 mb ....
Fast enough to watch (or download) the concert gigs the mediathek of german tv offers (arte, 3sat, wdr) - and there are a lot  - without using yt  ;D

Thanks Anna, first day today and, damn, so much to learn!  It's all a bit technical and I was always a bit more of an English and History person at school rather than Science or Technology... but I think I landed the gig thanks to being a rather good bullshitter and I'm pretty sure I can bullshit my way through it!  Head = a bit battered tonight, a couple of large brandies and an early night will help... thanks for the goodwill message, me duck!
