On a different note... Fred Phelps (of the Westboro Baptist Church) is, according to sources, 'on his deathbed'...

Your English is top notch Rusco, I only realised from posts in recent weeks that you were Finnish.

We on these Isles would have to admit a level of arrogance with our language, we kind of expect everyone to speak it, and to be fair, most other nations seem to teach it very well. Learning foreign languages here seems less of a priority

We do.  I've met so many people from 'foreign' lands who speak and write better English than a lot of us folk...

Your English is top notch Rusco [...]

Thanks a lot, Shush. But in history there have been couple of issues here too where I've used a totally contrary term than what I had to. Then the meaning goes upside down and the party time of confusing mess is right there, hehe. Also, I guess at times I may use some funny or a bit strange words that you as native speaking English men would hardly never use in the situation, or there's a too strong meaning for the case.

There are few accents that I've found quite difficult with English in general. Scottish for example, and I remember a case where I really had to give up finally after a 5 min long try of conversation  :-\.

In Finland we have to decide in schools do we take a long or short study period of English and Swedish. On the other hand, Swedish is the second official language. Most of the Finnish can speak quite fluent English, but pronounciation is not so good - even terrible at times. You probably know formula drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Mika Hakkinen? Aaand the legendary ski jumper Matti Nykaenen? :) Their pronounciation is just terrible.

Married for 22 years?  Shit, most of my past relationships lasted about 22 days!   :-\

Big respect to yourself and your good lady wife.
