On the dreaded FB I am member of a group called #ichbinhier (translates to Iamhere). This group was inspired by a Swedish group of the same name. Their aim is to try and oppose hate speech on the internet (in this case FB) by commenting in a calm and factual manner. Someone will point out a post on FB that is likely to attract trolls and the members of the #ichbinhier group will start to comment, using the hashtag, supporting each other and anyone who tries to be reasonable.
It's an attempt to show that there are still sensible people out there and that we are not willing to leave the net to the haters. Don't know if I have explained that well enough - it IS a great group, members will also support each other when things get a bit too rough - which, sadly, is bound to happen.
Each night, one of the moderators will start a "campfire" where they'll post about the past day, post thoughts - and people can chime in with their own.
Last night, one of the moderators posted one and added a link to NMA's "Vagabonds" - and then quite a few people replied with links to other NMA songs or simply stating their love for the band.

Shouldn't come as a surprise in a group like that, come to think of it - but I really love it and thought I'd share.
