I'm sure I will

Did you not see the stainless steel key rings they had for sale instead of the black plastic ones?

Fultons Point is an excellent album isn't it

I'll be buying the vinyl version this week

Been doing loads of free gigs in the park.  Over the past 10 yrs, Nashville has really turned into Music City.
As for upcoming gigs I've actually forked out money for:
- New Pornographers
- Afghan Whigs
- Mary Chapin Carpenter
Seen in the past couple months:
- Joan Baez
- Pixies
- U2

Didn't go tonight in the end

Just decided that the journey over the 62 in this terrible weather may have been risky especially as Blackballed had an early slot (7:30)

Newark on Saturday is only 30 miles away and I'm staying over so I'll be enjoying a pint or 10 of the black stuff :) :)

MARKXE,  do you want me to get you one of the keyrings?

It's the time once again for the only festival I go once in a year with my wife: it's Puntala, a small fest in Lempäälä countryside that will take 2000 inside. A lake, 2 stages and two days full of international punk, hc & crust. Always loved it.

And Summer vacation starting in two weeks!

Looking forward to a concert-filled November this year:

Royal Blood twice, once in Cologne and once in Antwerp
The Waterboys at a venue not very far from where I live - that doesn't happen a lot ;-)
And then I'll actually get to do a mini roadtrip to the UK to see Black Star Riders in Cambridge and Portsmouth  :D If any of you guys happens to be there...  :)

Ray - Slaves are good.  Have both albums and while the albums don't work as a whole, there's some pretty good tunes laid out in both records.  Cheer Up London is cracking tune.

Back from that weekend break in London.  Went to the Madness gig but left it to tea-time seeing as it was so bloody hot in London and I suspected (and was proved to be right) there was no bloody cover from the sun anywhere, I don't do well in those conditions!  Szmurf, Slaves were announced as the main support of the evening, so I expected them to be on at about 7, but showing up at 5. they were half way through their set.   >:(  Sounded great though, I suspect that seeing them in a small venue is probably the way to go.  Still, got to watch Soul 2 Soul and De La Soul and then Craig Charles playing some records, though...  ::)

Madness were great, as always, but the way that London Transport handle these events (don't ask) and the ridiculous charge for drinks (4 cans of San Miguel = £22?) has made me think that these big festival events are not quite for me anymore...
