Damn, it's been a while since I saw the Levellers live but they were brilliant in Llandudno Arena on Friday. Levelling The Land in full (again!) and then another hour or so of fan favourites, they might be getting on a bit but they still play like demons. A hugely responsive crowd as well, huge singalongs and much dancing. Surprised to see how many young folks were there who seemed to know every word and were well up for it!

As for the support bands, The Meffs were excellent as well, a Brighton based female fronted punk-ish band, great riffs and a fine performance, they're well worth checking out. As for Ned's Atomic Dustbin... bless them, they were hugely fashionable in about 1990 and gave it a good energetic go but it only took two or three numbers to make me remember that there's a reason I didn't get into them all that much back then.

Still, the Levs still got it, what a fine night it was.
