 ;)

Loved this one as a boy...
Chuff me!! Thats a blast from the past. Used to love that show!
Hala (from the Anglo-Saxon word "halh", meaning nook or remote valley), until it was gifted by King Henry II to Welsh Prince David Owen and became known as Halas Owen

A highlight of home grown 1970s T.V.

Thanks for the link. I'll watch that with the missus when I find the time. We have often talked about that series

Shush, that was just the opening titles... but get thee to Youtube, plenty of good SAS stuff there...

A couple of great things I've watched over the last couple of days...

STARRED UP... bloody brilliant film.  A UK prison movie that was so over-looked at the cinema when it came out earlier this year.  It's about a lad from a young-offenders institute who gets moved up to an adult prison two years before schedual due his over-violent nature (hence being 'starred up') and finds himself on the same wing as his lifer father.  Don't want to say anything more, no spoilers here, but it's an absolute cracker of a movie.  Deffo check it out.

The other one was BOY A, a 2007 UK TV movie I've been trying to find for ages but only found last night via the internet.  VERY controversial... loosely based on the Jamie Bulger murder in the 90's (non-UK readers, a truly awful case where a pair of 9 year old boys tortured and murdered a toddler...), it's about a young man who has spent 20 years in a young offenders institute after doing something terrible as a child and is finally released into society and tries to build a life for himself... again, no spoilers, but it's a genuinely moving film and VERY diversive... Andrew Garfield who plays the main character, also known as the most recent Spider Man, is so damn good in this film, as is everyone else... again, try and have a look at this one if you get chance...

Been watching quite a bit of other stuff, will keep you posted...   ;)

Just downloaded THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2 - FULL SEQUENCE off the internet, the full uncut version that was banned in the UK...

 :o

Now I'm a big horror movie fan, I've seen pretty much every 'video nasty' ever made and I have a strong stomach... but this film... **** me, that was horrific....

I liked the first one, it was well made, well acted and original... quite tame as well, in view of the fact of the whole HUMAN CENTIPEDE concept was so gross... but the sequel... damn.  That's some fucked up shit, right there.

Here's the trailer...

Just watched a film called LOCKE, starring Tom Hardy, one of my favourite actors... was looking forward to this one...

Don't bother.  Utterly shit and pointless.  85 minutes of the dullest stuff I've seen in a good long while.  Seriously, don't bother.

But here's mr Hardy as the new Mad Max in FURY ROAD, out next year... it's been nearly 30 years since the last Mad Max movie... here's the trailer...

Although I'd prefer Mad Mel in the role despite his recent indescretions...

Heno, don't be taken in too much by those conspiracy theory documentaries.  There's a whole lot of ******* sad arsebollocks on the 'net. Please, I know you're far too intelligent to be taken in by that shit.   :-*

Is that the one with Stephen Grahem in it?  never seen it due to the whole Danny Dyer also-being-in-it thing, but if you say so, I'll check it out.

Now, this is naughty of me, but I just watched EXPENDABLES 3, on my laptop, a couple of weeks before it's world premier in the US and before it's seen the inside of a cinema anywhere in the world...   :o

Meant to say "Dog Soldiers", but "Dog House", yes have that also, yes Danny Dyer, also an excellent UK horror/comedy

Whats wrong with Danny Dyer. The Business, very good film. Straightheads  with Gillian Anderson, excellent film.

Ray, I have a deep mistrust of all things political, administrative and executive. I find it hard to look at  world events, politics and history without referencing the influence that music had when i was growing up. I don't take anything at face value. But i do try and read and reference and watch what is happening to gain better insight and make my own conclusions. The trouble is that most of the herd don't and inevitably are drowning the propaganda and bullshit.

maybe i am the stupid one

you're just the walking fucking dead.
