Life force...I always liked this one. A nice twist on the old vampire tale.

OK, THE INTERVIEW, that comedy that kicked off such a stink a couple of weeks back when North Korea took offense at 'their glorious leader' Kim Jong Un being portrayed in a comedic fashion and subsequently hacked into Sony Pictures and released embarrassing emails from their senior staff... hate to say anything nice about NK, but it's better than, I dunno, killing people and blowing shit up?   :(

looks like the movie also got hacked and released onto the Internet, checked it out today... amusing enough, not a classic but it was a fun couple of hours.  I suspect that Sony Pictures (who pulled it from circulation and then released it anyway) were just trying to stir up some controversy with future ticket sales in mind?

Again, not supporting North Korea and their awful human rights record and if that chubby little mentalist got his nose put out of joint, **** him...

Dumb and Dumber 2.  Really liked it, made me laugh quite a lot.  Almost as funny as the first one, one of my fave comedy movies ever...

Just stuck on PLATOON, not watched it in ages... such a terrific film.  Tom Beringer and Willem Dafoe are not on our screens enough.  Such a shame what a joke Charlie Sheen turned into...

Here's, IMO, one of the greatest movie moments ever... big spoiler if you ain't seen PLATOON...  :-\

I just watched an indie  French Film Called Amelie  on netflix. Was told that i should for years and glad i finally did. It was a beautiful film and easy to keep up with the subtitles.  Judging from that the French pronounce words slower than other languages or just have longer words. But it's a beautiful film and beautiful language.
Where I'm from is not my home, and neither's where i'm bound.

AMELIE is a lovely movie.

If you can find a film called Joyeux Noel, I'd recommend that too... yes, its a  Christmas movie and I know we're a bit past that, but I'd recommend it...  trailer here...

France has also done some pretty shocking horror movies over recent years, but I won't go there...   :)
