IMO, that 4th Indy flick was a bloody abomination.  Probably the most disappointing thing I ever saw in a cinema.  Shia Lebouf or whatever his ******* name is... I genuinely hate that actor.  Only thing they did right was bringing back Karen Allen... still gorgeous after all these years.

Just stuck on THE TERMINATOR.  The original and best.  T2 was OK, the third not so good (great ending though) and the fourth was utter dogshit...

I agree with you on all these films Master Ray.
THE TERMINATOR is my favourite James Cameron film i think (but i still haven't seen AVATAR... )...it has a tight pace, some good acting and characterization through the action, a desperate creepy mood, some nice use of locations and special effects...

I quite liked it...you know that i like italian cinema!
Eva Green...she's stunning...i saw her recently in the cool western "the salvation", also she was fine in "White bird in a blizzard"  and a strong plus in the less than good "300 part 2"!

Thing I dislike most about the 4th film is the role played by Ray Winston. I thought it was way below his abilities . I imagine he was brought in as the bumbling Englishman after passing of the late great Denholm Elliot. I did read that Winston was dismissive of the film, and only did it for the Hollywood money. Fair enough, who wouldn't. He has proven his a abilities in films like "Nil by Mouth", so fair play to go for the money job.

Its an ok film mate. Thats the best I can say without giving too much away. I gather its loosely based on a true story. It doesnt really give too much depth to the characters tbh and seems a bit far fetched at times but I think theyve tried to cram historical events in that are touched on but brushed in as a sideline. Worth a watch but not the best film Ive ever seen. Gives a balanced view of Gallipolli though as opposed to Good Aussies v Bad Turks.
