WITNESS ME!

Love that film, must get the Blu at some point.  The story ain't the point, it's one of the best stripped-down, exhilarating action films I've ever seen.   Saw it at the cinema on a huge screen on opening weekend (but not in bloody 3D, hate that gimmick) and it's the only time I can recall where some people broke out in whoops and applause as the end credits came up.  And you know, we're British, all reserved and shit!   :D

The Terminator. Sheesh. Well dated but great story. Which begs the question, if, what were  beleivable fx in the 80's look so bad now, what will the fx/cgi be like in 30 years?

When I first saw the Terminator in the 80's I thought it looked amazing. The a few years later the first big CGI film, Terminator 2 instantly made it look dated. Now T2 is 25 years old.  :o

Next 30 years, CGI will be so advanced, old time  stars will be on the screen again and you will not be able to tell the difference. New actors will be created that do not exist in real life, just a program heavily copyrighted. They will never grow old, forget their lines or put on weight - or want 20 million per film. Entire films will be CGI and you will not be able to tell the difference.

Just think what possibilities that opens. "Old" films remodernised with the original actors. I dont think that full cgi films are yet that popular, there still something about having a favourite actor. i think video games will be like watching real life.
Gonna stick Genysis on now.

Yeah I think there will always be a place for real life actors but at the same time when they have perfected CGI programs of people, like certain game characters they will gain their own fan base. Maybe a completely CGI East-Ender's - but without a Grant Mitchell leaving for long periods of time.  ???

Suicide Squad.
Not sure...good film but it felt like to much was being crammed in,as regards introducing characters and touching on back stories. They were obviously setting the story for a Harley / Joker sequel and prolly a Deadshot one too.
Thought The Enchantress / brother parts were shite.

Jared Leto is a f****** brilliant Joker.
