Just watched the first season2 episode of The Last Kingdom - ok but not a patch on Vikings and a bit empty compared to the books, still at least it's in English and don't have 10 minute ad breaks in it

Watched 'Kong - Skull Island' this afternoon at the piccies.  Two trips to the cinema with a mate in the space of a week... I'm dangerously close to getting a social life! 

Good fun, not a deep or meaningful concept throughout and all the better for it.  Just lots of big roary monster-y stuff.  I like monster-y stuff.

xXx return to xander - better than expected, a half decent plot n some excellent stunts, certainly plenty of action and entertaining enough. Some surprise acting appearances

Two episodes into 'The People Vs OJ Simpson', which aired last year but I'm only just catching up with it.  Pretty good so far, recommended.

Train spotting 2 - really enjoyable but will watch again when I'm not so tired, favourite bit so far, when they explained why the book was called trainspotting.
Dexter on to season 2 - very good and different
The great wall , way over the top on cgi for me, favourite bit , the hot air ships

Been re-watching the Millennium trilogy, ie 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' and its two sequels (original Swedish versions)... so good.

Species, gonna do the set over the next nights , anything that hr giger had a hand in I'm a fan, well maybe not future kill, awesome poster tho - well I've got to say that since its tattooed on my arm, wouldn't mind a Sil tattoo

Quite enjoyed the first 'Species', a daft b-movie with a-list actors, haven't seen any of the sequels... let me know if any of them are worth a punt...

Just watched Rogue One for the second time, enjoyed it even more this time round.

Just watched 'Brotherhood', the last part of the trilogy that started with 'Kidulthood' and 'Adulthood'... a really good trilogy of UK 'yoof' movies, I'd recommend them... trailer here for the third instalment...
