Guardians of the Galaxy 2....enjoyable but meh

Security-  ex special forces guy down on his luck forced to take a security guard job in a mall . Young girl about to testify against the bad guys gets her Police escort ambushed she escapes into the mall where she is protected by good guy.  Pretty entertaining as it goes tho it's not gonna win any Oscars

Heck, you want 'not gonna win any Oscars'? I just watched that new Baywatch film... and it was actually pretty funny, a total piss-take of that TV Show.  I do think that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has some pretty good comedic chops.  Here's the Red Band trailer if you're remotely interested...

The Hitmans Bodyguard.  A proper old-school action movie that's pretty funny as well, sweary and daft and a lot of fun.  Red band trailer here...

6 days - the siege of the Iranian embassy-  back in 1980 (yeah fck 37 years ago ) I'm sure a few of will remember it .
Not bad for a fact based documentary film. If your stuck for something to watch it's worth checking out.

One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest ... not watched it in ages, it's just flawless, surely one of the very best films ever made? 

Bought it in Asda on a two DVD's for £8 deal, Empire Of The Sun was the other one, also not seen that in a very long time, will let you know how I got on with that...

American gods-  fckin weird programme. I've only seen 2 episodes n not quite got my head around what's happening.  Visually stunning and very well acted.  Ian mcshane is excellent as Mr Wednesday. Lots of wtf moments. Worth checking out if your suffering game of thrones withdrawals.

A bit more American gods now on episode 5 . It's getting way stranger, especially the start sequences n sometimes weird tangents.  Think the twin peaks fans might like it

Went to see the new version of 'It' at the cinema today... superb, it's one of my favourite books and this adaptation (or the half of it that was covered, the books nearly 1200 pages long) really lives up to expectations, not just a great horror movie but often a funny and moving story about growing up.  The kid actors here are just excellent and the new Pennywise is genuinely quite disturbing.  Highly recommended!  Trailer here...

Oh, and if you did read the book, rest assured. THAT bit in the book (just SO wrong) is not included in the film...  you'll know what I mean if you read it!
