Always nice to see you back, Anna!  Is Homeland worth carrying on with?  I got to the end of series 5 and just didn't bother carrying on.  Always thought the first two series were brilliant, didn't like the third much but it did pick up once Brody was out of the scene... perhaps I should pick it up again?

Are you across the pond aware of the new KARATE KID series? Both Daniel and the bully Johnny are back. It follows their lives as fifty year old guys. I've seen some. It is interesting. (And it sets a record for longest time in between an actor playing a role and reprising that role. 34 years. Don't see that record ever be broken.)

Angel heart , a bit of an oldie with Micky Rourke n Robert de niro . Definite worth a watch or a rewatch .
Deadpool 2 wasn't that keen thot the 1st one was better

Angel Heart is one of my favourite films.  Bloody masterpiece.  Bloody hell, Mickey Rourke, what went wrong?   

Sorry to hear Deadpool 2 didn't live up to expectations, the first one was hilarious.

Tried to give 'Stratton' a go (just showed up on Netflix), always like a UK based action movie and it had a decent enough cast, but I gave it 40 minutes and it was crappier than a week old dog turd on the pavement, so I'd give that one a swerve...

Insidious- The Last Key. I like the Insidious series. This has all the jump out your skin moments but the story is poor. I think its run its course.

Just gave the hugely acclaimed 'A Quiet Place' a punt.  Hmmm. It's certainly a tense enough watch (the second half especially) and I won't give any spoilers away, but it's one of those films when the more you think about it, the more HUGE plot holes appear... I might post some more once a few of you lot have seen it, here's the trailer if you're not familiar...
