Fighting with my family- Quite a funny film and based on a true story.

Top film!

Just gave 'Jay And Silent Bob Reboot' a punt... big fan of Kevin Smith's movies, the last couple were a bit dodgy, but he's back with his two most famous characters and a whole bunch of superstar cameos.  It's pretty funny IF you're familiar with his old stuff, if not you might struggle with it.  Trailer beneath...

Just got back from The Rise of Skywalker. Good in parts, a bit meh in others. Overall a decent end to this trilogy I thought.

'Ford V Ferrari' ( I think it was renamed Le Mans for UK cinemas) is well worth a look, very entertaining film, not least for Christian Bale doing, what seems like, a Jaspar Carrott impression for much of it... that's a UK comedian from the 70's / 80's, in case anyone was wondering.   ;)

Jaws. I still think it holds its own after all these years.

Das Singende,Klingende Baumchen.....The Singing,Ringing Tree....a really magical/trippy East German film from 1957,when first shown on British Television in 1964 it scared the living daylights out of some kids especially The Dwarf,it was shown in black and white then as there was no colour T.V.which is a shame because the colours are amazing, but at least they can watch it now on Youtube in colour as i have just done.I really love the fish scenes plus that horned horsey thing looks like it came from Game Of Thrones...I have just read that it was voted by readers of TV Times in 2004 as the 20th spookiest TV show ever......i love it,excellent stuff... 8).. 8)..a film for kids of all ages...(and i was born in the year it was made).... :)..

I'm not watching it right now, but I would very much recommend 1917. What a film.

Went on Sunday with my partner and we were going to go out for a meal after. When we left she turned to me and we both said we needed to go home as we just didn't feel like going out after it finished. It just didn't seem right.

What a brilliant, exciting (but not in a blockbuster way), nail biting, affecting film. And I say that as a guy who does not really do extremes of emotion.

It's a great film indeed, I was going to mention it.

The new series of Doctor Who.  Which, I'm surprised to say (after how awful the previous series was) is actually pretty decent.  The stories are much better, it's a lot funnier and more exciting, Jodie Whittaker actually has some proper acting to do (rather than just running around gurning like David Tennant at his worst) and there's some very interesting story arcs coming up.  I was ready to give up on this show but I'm back in!
