We've been enjoying The Chosen (angel studios) and their take on the life of Jesus.

Also, on a different tack entirely,  Clarkson's Farm on Prime.

Both very watchable in different ways.

I love Clarkson's farm. Shows the bloke has a heart as well. Very good show and boy does it show how hard farming is!

The Tomorrow War...not a bad film tbh, Chris Pratt is underated imho.. Thank god for Amazon and Netflix when cinemas were closed

I must check out 'The Tomorrow War', trailer looks pretty decent.

'A Quiet Place Part 2'... a very good sequel to one of those films that was rather great if you ignore the fact that the plot has more holes than a tea strainer... 

Superb prequel opening scene that shows the alien attack happening in the first place and Cillian Murphy is great (as always) as a new character... don't want to spoil anything but apparently a third movie is going to round it all out as a trilogy.  I'd be OK with that.

I can't remember if I mentioned it before but if we're talking about 'Amazon Originals' have you checked out 'Greenland'?  Watched it for the second time this afternoon and it's so much better than you might think... basically Gerald Butler tries to save his family as space debris starts crashing into the Earth.  Really great movie that I wish I'd seen on the big screen.  Plenty of the usual CGI stuff but

(and speaking of big screens, looking forward to Black Widow in a few days, first film I'll be seeing at the cinema since Tenet, at my local Vue with big leather recliners no less!!)

Same here. Discovered it by accident (I love what he does with May and Hammond), and like it a lot!

Just finished Succession Season 2 before that. I can recommend it!

Anyone been watching 'Loki', the new Marvel TV show about, yes, Tom Hiddleston's character from several Marvel movies.  Really, really great, very timey-wimey in a Doctor Who fashion, great production values and very funny as well.  Trailer below...

Ok. So. Amazon and Netflix do some decent films. However Im not watching one of them. Chloe Grace Moretz is very talented and does a great English accent in Shadow in the Cloud...but this film is so bad its funny....basically some started a story, someone added a different story who gave it to someone else with a different story....and then found someone with a cheesy 80's synth. I cant beleive someone paid for this!!!

Calvary. I was blown away when I watched in 7 years ago and still am. Beautifully funny, dark, sad and thought provoking....
