FFS.  There's been a little bit of snow today.  I know people in the US who have huge blizzards throughout the winter, proper full-on snowy shit.  So why did it take me nearly FOUR hours today to get home this afternoon after a night out in Manchester to get back to my hometown, only about 50 miles?  Most trains cancelled or delayed...   >:(

I had to send messages to guys at my work and tell I'm going to have a day-off tomorrow because of logging I'll have to do. There are numerous damaged trees in our courtyard because of heavy load of snow. I still can hear them felling and could do Nothing because it's night and dark already.

Ah, now as it's clear what kind of crackin' live sets the band plays nowadays I see we're not able to see them anytime soon. Bugger.

Aw, bollocks, lost my job today thanks to the people I worked for (who I basically dragged out of the shit that they were struggling with) 'reorganising their workforce' and are now sending my workload to people that they can pay less than they were paying me...

Cheers for the nice messages, guys... I'll be fine, got a whole years worth of holiday pay that I didn't take and they have to pay me for and quite a few 'irons in the fire' for the new year.   8)
