I think I see what you mean.

Having some pause with answering in general has been a good thing, I think. But it's vice versa: sometimes a quick reply may refresh the posting. But also, I think that the longer time with answering has been a rare and good thing that only few of the forums have. The other option would be that the site either is dead - or we are adult enough to process our thoughts before replying. I really feel it's the latter option of them.

If there's something that the site lacks sometimes it's the humour. We sound too serious, sometimes.

OK, saw this earlier..

Bad car smash near my local Asda, two demolished vehicles, plenty of cop cars and a couple of ambulances and blue flashing lights with broken glass and metal scattered everywhere... looked pretty bad 

Someone being loaded onto an ambulance, looking bloody and motionless... and there were actually bystanders filming it on their mobile ******* phones!!!

That's someones parent / child / sibling / loved one, quite possibly fighting for their life!

I have no idea what has been happening but I don't see how Space is offending anyone. His album art work was obviously meant to be a joke. I wish we could just get along, You can argue on a less sensitive, kind and uderstanding site such as FB. 

What pisses me off is the fact that people can watch cruelity or a horrible crime and say nothing.

Space posts things that demand a response by any means necessary.  Some are offensive or antagonistic.  Very few are conductive to the chilled-out, non-trolling, supportive ethos of the Forum I joined and wish I still logged onto most nights.

He gets responses in kind.

Did you hear about the man who took the heavy shell off his pet snail as he thought it would help it move easier. But unfortunately it made the snail more sluggish? Oh ho! 

Look some people post odd things, some I'm sure have issues, some are just arses. But surely the best way is just ignore the comment as if it had not been said in the first place? That is my advice for what it's worth.

But I don't know whether it's news to everyone, but we have only 4 score and 7 on this lovely blue planet that sits in the darkness of space. So I personally think that every minute spent answering people like him/her or wasting time on things that aren't what we really want to be doing is probably not a good idea!!!!!

OK, back to a trivial 'pisses you off' thing...

Had a haircut today.  Damn, those snow-white hairs that used to have the decency to stick to the sides of my head... those bastards are creeping upwards.  Only noticible when I get my barber to drag that electric shaver over the back and sides of my skull.

I think I'm gonna look like Father Ted five years from now.

Nowt wrong with being bald. Without sounding stereotypical Scottish its saves you a fortune and a lot of hassle. You buy yourself a set of clippers and your sorted. No more shampoo and combs etc. I wouldn't change honestly

Appreciate that, Pol, but I don't want to go bald because, apparently, I have an very oddly shaped head underneath my hair!  All bumpy at the back and shit!
