So, the British steel industry gets a devastating blow with 1200 redundancies in the North... whilst in The South, the Chinese Prime Minister and his wife get given an expensive and luxurious welcome from Cameron and the Royal Family and lots of grovelling newspaper headlines (don't they all look lovely?) after all the steel business went over to, yes, China... 

I do appreciate the ins and outs of economics, honestly, but the timing of this is just insulting at best and sickening at worst... but old Call Me Dave doesn't give a shit, eh?

Maybe this is just an American thing. But it pisses me off when there's some moron in line in front of me who wants to buy a whole bunch of scratch tickets. Then he just stands right there and scratches them while I stand there and wait ten minutes to buy a soda. My piss offed-itude multiplies when the jerk exclaims "Oh !! A two dollar winner ! I'll take two more ! " Life is just too damn short to watch some prick scratch away his life savings as I die of thirst.

The stick that sausages and bacon have had today. As carcinogenic as smoking !!, red meat in general not far behind.  Will a pack of sausages carry similar health warnings as a pack of fags ?

I could give up pork and beef, in their standard form,  but not my beloved sausage. German sausage, Polish sausage, spicy Italian sausage and salami. Then the wonderful Cumberland, like a glorious Katherine wheel filling your plate.

I agree, Shush, I could give up bacon, but not the gloriousness of sausages!  Got some lovely Lincolnshire sausages in the fridge right now.  So much variety, so many different tastes, all great!  I particularly like German sausages, it's worth going over to Germany just to taste their thick, meaty, tasty sausages...

We should meet soon and compare our sausages, in detail...

Pizza Hut now has a pizza where the crust also serves as buns for tiny hot dogs which are cooked inside it. It's sure to kill some people, so I'm undecided as to whether it pisses me off. Seems like the kid who died shooting an arrow up his nose because he thought it'd come back out of his bellybutton. Yes, it's tragic but.......

I've also seen a pizza advertised (think it was also Pizza Hut) where the crust has tiny cheeseburgers cooked into the crust... 

Love cheeseburgers, love pizza, but on the same plate?  Even an unhealthy eater like me wants to throw up at the very thought of it...
