Oh, this REALLY pisses me off... the whole Carillion thing. On the verge of going 'bump' to the tune of one and a half billion £££s...
The firm is facing the threat of collapse under the burden of £1.5billion in debt - with fears of dire consequences for a host of public services. The company holds a range of crucial government contracts, including with schools, hospitals, prisons and transport infrastructure. So, basically, there are two options... the firm goes under and public services suffer
terribly or it's another billion or so for the Tories (who gave them the contracts in the first place despite Carillion being a dodgy prospect at best) to drag from public money so they can bail out their rich pals. Just like bailing out the banks all over again... and I'm pretty sure the high-level idiots who fucked up Carillion will walk away with six or seven figure bonuses...

To be fair to The Maybot, reports indicate that she might not actually do this... but let's be honest, it'll happen. We all know that. If I'm wrong, I'll apologise.
Privatise profits... nationalise debt. You know when you've been Toried!
