Corona and the rules to protect elder ones
My mother is 90+, it was forbidden to visit her for more than 3 month, only phone contacts,
now she`s very ill and in a hospital, problems with the phone - and only one person with a mask can visit her in a special room
It seems she will die not because of the virus, but because of all the walls around to protect her getting the virus and cutting off all the social contacts ...

How would you feel, if most the time of a day you can talk to the wall or to yourself or with a lot of unknown people bringing you somethink to eat/drink and telling you, you are not allowed to leave the room or not allowed to do this ore that for weeks?

And I can`t do much against that

Thanks to all posting some kind words ...
My mother is still in a hospital, perhaps for one week more, stopped talkning with the wall and started a normal talk with real people
But still visits aren`t easy - I have to ask for the day and the time, have to wear a mask, a special room with a barrier between us
and communication is difficlkt - she can`t hear fine and so she can`t see the feelings behind a mask ...

These corola rules are importent for normal people to protect each other, but for oldies - I still think, my mother became and is ill because of locked in and cut off of social contacts

Puncture whilst not carrying spares about 3 miles from home , destroyed my wheel rim tape as well, was just getting up a good sweat as well,  at least I avoided the rain even though I looked a prick pushing a bike home,  life lessons make u stronger.

The city council of Dresden has approved a demonstration by the neo-fascist organisation Pegida. Tonight, on the 9th of November. At the same time, the commemorations of the Nazi atrocities in 1938 were cancelled due to Covid-19 social distancing concerns.

I have no words. This is a dark day for Germany and shows how far right wing extremism has advanced into government in parts of the country.

All protests should be stopped. On the flip side over here BLM protests were allowed but the anti Lockdown ones weren't. There should be no mass gatherings, whatever you beleive in.
