Ok we have just had world cup and a successful thread on it So with the new football season soon to start in the uk I thought that it was maybe time for a sports thread.
You can post about any sport at all the more diverse the better
One thing i do ask is that all posts are kept friendly no local or international rivalries getting out of hand please  !

Well the football team i follow is Kilmarnock, last season we just managed to avoid the play off for relegation on the last day We have since lost our best player and top goal scorer Kris Boyd to Rangers.
I think the best we can hope for this season is to keep well clear of relegation and the relegation play off. All the team outwith Celtic are fairly evenly matched though so a top six or better isn't too unrealistic.
Its going to be a strange season with Rangers, Hearts and Hibes all in the 1st division (championship)

Now now, anything can be reduced to its base level for piss taking. I could say that NMA is a collection of people making a noise by twanging metal cord and beating dustbins?  ;)

I love watching Formula One and watching Rugby Union.  The only sport I take part in is Bell Target shooting.

I work in sport, tennis to be precise. Interestingly, NMA look like they're playing a tennis club venue in Brazil in september (I did look at flights...)!

The main sports I participate in are kitesurfing and skateboarding. I do get comments from kids wondering why I skate when I'm older than their Dads :( Thankfully on the water no such comments are possible!!

I'm a Dragon Slayer. I regularly roam far and wide in the vast expanses of Skyrim with my companion Lydia.

just joking Pol and I will start a new one. I might just do that later today when I get a little time. I love gaming.

sports wise, I'm on a serious health binge at the moment. got my bike ready and going to get out on it over the next few days. trouble is around here its all hills so not ideal way to start.

also trying to reset my body clock to very early morning and bed early night at the moment but struggling.

Ok will try and kick start the sports thread again
Well the Champions league is about to kick off in group stages, all major European leagues are back full swing and the International European qualifying games have started
The Merc boys are going at it big style in the F1
Valentino Rossi has just won his 1st Moto GP of the season Marc Marquez has won 11 out of the other 12
My team Kilmarnock have 10 points after 6 games and sit a lofty forth or 10 points clear of the bottom two
