yeah well. i liked that but never got far enough. defender, now that was a game. and that one where over the three levels the spaceship added parts so you take on big ship at the end.

after that there was 1941......man that was something else

Ah used to love defender i could play the same game for a few hours Think my best score was about 6 million Think that game your talking about was moon cresta or something like that heno again another arcade classic
Ive always just been into console gaming never pc Like playing grand Turismo just now and any of the c.o.d. games sadly im not very good Used to enjoy golf games weirdly since i don't like real golf Think my favourite under rated game is the punisher on ps2

GT is a good game. i like driving games. can't play them after 3 beers. we had some laugh playing 4 ball on tiger woods golf against each other. got serious for a while ahahahahaha

Just been looking up old arcade games that I enjoyed playing as a kid and I found FROGGER.

Sod CALL OF DUTY, GRAND THEFT AUTO and the like... all I need is a simple, low-definition frog.

Anyone else remember gorf it has a really big joy stick controller and used to laugh at you

and what was the one that you walked in one end with a gun and it was like  maze, and you had to shoot your way out to the exist door?

frogger was ridiculously hard plus there was no gun in it

never really got pacman or asteroids to be honest. too much random stuff.

Love my PS3 - have played a PS4 and not overly impressed with it...

Currently playing Watch Dogs which is very good, latest Tomb Raider was excellent, also big fan of GTAs - anything 3rd person really.

Was never a huge GTA fan till the last one which was awesome
old arcade game Nemesis the one where you collected lots of power up to your spaceship
and the kinda console equivalent R-Type both excellent games

i play pro evolution but this year our son got me the FIFA world cup version and I was impressed how far it had come in terms of game play. I can't get the hang of the all the fancy moves though so I play with less skill which in some ways makes it a more realistic experience. I play it on Xbox 360.

do you play the games through like a season or a particular team that you like?

Yeah, I like to play in career mode. I always find the lowest ranked team in League 2 at the hardest level!! I do play online a bit but prefer the career mode experince. Never really got into Pro-Evo as it doesn't have the complete package like FIFA.

yes, PES does fall short on the branding but i find the motion and graphics engine to be better....at least up until this version.

i'm playing fifa world cup 2014 from EA at the moment. its cool and has changed my perception a little. i have a dilemma now as i am not sure which one to go with for the new season. maybe fifa for once. i have had fifa since '95 and pes since it was International Superstar Soccer Pro Evolution back in the day. every version of PES. maybe i need to broaden my horizons
