>:(cannot believe it,finally got money together for ticket and hotel and trainfare and its sold out apart from some rip off merchants for 86 quid, which to be honest i would pay but just dont have money, this gig has been the only thing ive had to look forward to for ages ,after an awful couple of months, ive wasted money on train tickets as well 71 quid i really am so disapointed ,my heart sank when i found they had sold out, especially as yesterday iordered my train tickets and paid 71 quid, which i really couldnt afford .oh well should have ordered ticket first ,if anyone has a ticket id be so grateful and woul be willing to pay double the value thanks  :'( :'( :'( :'( going to bed to cry now (really)

If you've bought the train ticket and hotel already come down to Nottingham anyway, I'm pretty sure there'll be somebody with a spare (a real fan I mean, not a tout) in the pub and/or outside before the gig. Since the spread of Internet booking lots of people buy their tickets ridiculously early (some people up to a year before the event) and often get them for their friends/significant others too, only to then realise when the time comes they, or one of their party can't/can't be arsed to make it anymore. At the risk of jinxing it - to this day I've still always been able to get in to a gig I wanted to see, and without ever paying more than face value.

Of course, I you have to spend the money for travelling etc. I can understand you not wanting to take the risk, however small (I wouldn't either) but seeing as you've already got your train ticket sorted what have you got to lose? ;)

At this rate Lawrence's post gig party may become a during gig party. It is my plan to turn up as train and hotel already paid for and chance it as Danny says, hopefully I will only be attending the post part of the party. Good luck to all in the same boat.

Cheers

Just a thought, would it be worth phoning the Rock City Box Office, asking if there is any chance of another ticket or two ? http://www.rock-city.co.uk/

There's still a chance someone can't make it there for some reason. I've sent out a few emails. Hopefully we can get you in you're usual place, dancing away at the front.

fingers crossed  ;)

Rock City is now officially sold out.
Good luck to all searching for tickets. If I hear anything through the grapevine I'll post asap.

Well I hope you will be in your Kilt Pol, you won't be the only one. No, not me, there is always a chap or two at the front in a kilt.
