ignore it

That's what I do if I don't like a thread - ignore it and let others who do get on with it. Perhaps you should too.

my confidence has been at an all time low. it would be nice to think i have at least NMA family

Of course you do honey  :-*

Sorry but these posts are getting ridiculous. I know it's mean as a joke about another member's post but could we just please either back off of him or ignore it. ::)

If he wants an argument, then isn't this just fueling it?

Can we please get to just talking about music. As all of these posts are ridiculous and really just prolonging a senseless argument. This is more pointless than saying that the songs are too long.

This reminds me of school when I was 11 years old.

Ok. Im not one for arguing with anyone. I think personally things have moved on Amandistan. What I think youre reading is good ol British irony. I think things have calmed down a lot for the better IMHO. If theres one thing we do well, its depreciation especially self depreciation. Its in our psyche. I can get the joke here and its not childish. Just banter. Banter is healthy, abuse isnt. Well I hope so anyhoo.

Completely agree with that Drummyb. The latest posts by a certain individual no longer have any impact. he is a spent force and no  longer has  the ability to offend. Posts he puts up now which a few weeks ago would cause alarm can now only really be judged as comical, and we react accordingly. That said, I have not forgotten he has upset a friend of mine, doesn't care, and can not be bothered to apologise.

Tonight, as you stare at the ceiling again
With your lover turning away
Disappointment closing in
Like the walls... and you try...
You try to talk about love
And they put their arms around you
But you still feel all alone
Wonder why...

Okay then. Sorry.     I must confess that Americans don't do irony well.   ;D

The Arctic Monkeys
Charlie XCX
Imagine Dragons
Public Service Broadcasting
The War On Drugs

...all big now, most in the album chart presently, all with same or more syllables. Even the band who occasionally sound exactly like NMA, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, have a bloody long name and they're doing alright.
:) - Permasmiley - should you become pointlessly enraged by anything I've posted, look at this smiley which proves that I'm just being funny and meant you no offence personally (even though you're a dick)

Might I add "The War on Drugs" is brilliant.  Completely different from NMA but non-the-less brilliant.
