And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

Went to my first Christmas pantomime since I was a kid this afternoon (now that my little niece is old enough so I've got an excuse!), Snow White at the Crewe Lyceum, starring Cannon and Ball (a comedic double act who were huge in the late 70's / early 80's for any non UK folks reading this).  And it was bloody great!  Proper laughed my arse off, although the couple of pints I imbibed beforehand might have had something to do with it...  ;D  and Cannon and Ball (who I saw on stage back when they were one of the biggest names on UK TV) weren't some sad old act trading on past glories, they really put on a terrific show.  Proper funny guys who know how to work a crowd.

Also, my little niece loved it, first time in a theatre, I was proud of her, but the main thing is that I enjoyed it so bollocks to her opinion.   ;)

Looks like it's sort of unconscious moment now actually. After a massive flood of posts that reached over the seas.

Im currently in Spain with a pleasant temperature of 15 degrees and glorious sun/skies and pretty much t shirt weather. The locals are bedecked in scarves, wooly hats and thick coats.....its amused me in a "bloody hell, you think THIS is cold?" kinda way.....

And then I curse I wasnt born in this kind of climate.  :(

Out of the mouths of babes-
The good lady "Tr is the sound at the start of tree"
The littlun, aged 5, "And trump"
The good lady stares...
The littlun "No no mommy. Like Donal Trump"
The good lady "How have you even heard about him?"
The littlun "He's just a weird man who trumps a lot"

Thats ma boy!!!  ;D

I thought the same thing years ago in London on a wet, cold night. While we were freezing with scarves, coats and gloves, the local guys and girls were in shirts and skirts and we thought how could they walk like this on such a cold night?  :)
