Oh, grow a pair and just watch the bloody thing!   ;)  ;D

Actually, I appreciate the nervous anticipation in someone's mind when they build up too many expectations.  I've been sadly disappointed by many records / films / TV shows.  Not a nice experience.  But I doubt you will be disappointed by the BDAW documentary... unless you're expecting it to be going much past the T+C years.  Yes, it does touch on certain aspects of post 1989 NMA years (not giving anything away) but it does focus on a certain period of NMA's history...

Other than that, it's often funny, often moving and rather illuminating as to the way it hasn't always been a smooth ride between the NMA inner-sanctum (Joolz has a couple of choice comments to make...)

I'd still love to see a follow-up...  :-\

As per usual, was actually being quite serious with that post...

...grow a pair...

lol, I think it's going to take my entire lifetime's passing, before that happens!  ;) ;) ;)

I didn't know this.  Wonder why now, Mr. Reid chose to title the film after NMA's latest recording, of that time, "Between Dog and Wolf"?   :-\  Hope it'll make sense to me, once I've actually seen the film.

...it's often funny, moving and rather illuminating as to the way it hasn't always been a smooth ride between the NMA inner-sanctum...

Thank you so much for not giving too much away, Master Ray.

I'd still love to see a follow-up...

Oh, yes please somebody, anybody "out there"  in "here"... PLEASE!  PLEASE!  PLEASE!  The more NMA  related films there could be, the better, and perhaps happier I'd be!  Did you know that NMA did a "making of" piece for the album "HIGH", but some fcukin' S.O.B. bastard stole Mr. White's laptop!  >:(   ARRGGHHH!!!   Now, none of us we'll ever get to see that one.   :'(

...let us know if when you do watch it...

Shush, I'm quite certain it'll raise trillions of new questions... get me talking about it / the band / the music / etc., for many decades to come.  :)

Well its been a while since we talked about the documentary.  Hope it happens. We could do with more NMA relevant discussion here

Oh, very much agree with you there, Shush.  That's something I keep hoping to see, whenever I can manage to pop-in for a virtual visit (which isn't as often as I'd like for it to be, but sometimes everyday matters / life gets in the way).  I've noticed folk tend to drop by and post when there's a new NMA release, song, album, concert, or project.

Wish more people would post on these boards, though.  It used to be quite the busy place, a number of years ago.  Not sure what happened (can't be down to Facebook / Twitter, I don't believe that's the reason), but hopefully folk will come "home" again, at some point.  I'm sure they still love the band / music, how can one not?  NMA just keep getting better and better with each passing record.

Special shout out to all the foreign language speaking / writing posters, who used to post here a long time ago.  lol, even though I didn't know what the heck was being related, I certainly enjoyed their presence here (as I do with absolutely everyone who posts here nowadays... yes, even the ones who tend to stir up a bit of contraversy, trouble, mischief).  Keeps things interesting side of things, I think.  No?  :)

Totally agree about the NMA related discussion thing... but, realistically, how many more things can be brought up between releases?  There are a ton of threads out there that could be re-activated, but there's only so many questions that can be asked in the first place..? Whereas 'everything else' is, obviously, anything... a wider topic for discussion! I do enjoy the chats about unrelated and, yes, silly / irrelevant stuff, all part of being in an online community, I guess...

So, a suggestion about something to do over the next few days, you regulars or newbies...  find an old thread and bring it back to life.  Some of them are years old, there must be something in between then and now that can be said.  Might pump a bit of blood back into the Forum, yeah?
