Nothing at the moment and, wow, is it a bad scenario. Worked for the NHS for ten years, got laid off thanks to Tory bastard cutbacks, been temping since then, on and off, had certain health problems after that which meant I couldn't take on a sweet new job that I had lined up. After that, ****-all. Applied for so many jobs. But nobody wants to employ a mid-forties loser with health problems.
I last had a period of extended unemployment back in the 90's and I can honestly say that jobs paid better money a couple of decades ago. I mean in REAL terms, not adjusted for inflation. I've applied for government contract jobs, in important fields, that paid minimum wage. Fuckin' BS.
Blimey, I'm ranting again. Didn't mean to bother you again with this stuff. Sorry.
