It has to be said this was a top top night.

Tour end, great venue, sell out, Saturday night. The stage was set..

Setlist was pretty much as the prev week plus encore of BDAW and Poison St with something else in it I was too pissed to remember. Then Vagabonds and ILTW.

So great to see the Shire Hobbits again after a couple of years - Dan, hat off to you mate. Dunno where you disappeared to later tho.

Plus Jme was there! .. and thx Lisa for the lift and getting DJ Mead and me back to Dorch thru a hurricane and monsoon and that river that appeared on the road west of Winterborne Abbas at just gone midnight... It might hv taken 50% longer but we live to mosh another day either at Xmas or on the spring tour  ;)

Still buzzing this morning, what a wonderful way to go.  ;D

Clever monkeys with technology, barely outta the caves and trees, it's all vanity - and ch@os rules it all!

It was an OUSTANDING night - I hadn't seen them play for twenty-odd years, and now wondering why I left it so long. The band were in fantastic form, a cracking set, demonstrating their musical proficiency and multi-instrumentalism across an evolving musical style, still delivered with the same passion and energy from all those years ago. My wife came too, and although she'd never heard much of their stuff before came away absolutely mesmerized - a fantastic venue too.

Vagabonds was my personal favourite, but I adore the new stuff too. For me, the top moment was freaking out towards the end of the gig and catching Marshall's eye - we both fed of each other's energy and he shouted in delight! - a truly wonderful evening - thank you NMA, thank you the crew, venue and fans. I'll be there next tour now! :)

I've added a few shots from the Exeter gig to my website.

The lighting made it difficult to get crowd shots but I've uploaded three here, here and here.

Very good pictures, MJM.  :)

I don't know, but somehow I feel .... addicted. How many more days 'til Cologne?
