What surprised you about?

Is there something that you are either surprised / confused / or amazed about? Something you didn't expect and you're thinking with astonishment?

Mine goes here: Well me and my wife have had a wi-fi connection here last 6-7 years supported with a technology that probably couldn't challenge anymore todays brand new technology of new wi-fi/wlan dongles. Ok, so now we've tried a new dongle that can share the connection with all of our computers/smart phones etc. and theoretically it could provide an internet speed of 50 Mbs in total, which is at least three times faster than our former dongle could do at best.

So, what makes me confused about is the new dongle is actually worse than the former was! Although the item would be able for a much better connection, it depends so much about masts that they've placed around the country - and which of them reside near to you. So it looks like we'll return the dongle back to the shop. Thanks but no thanks, the former one does the work a way more better and is actually much more cheaper too.

Ah technology at it's best. Were still on broadband here n can't see fibre optic happening anytime soon.  I have my fire tv box wired to the router, seems to have helped reduce the buffering , use wifi for everything else tho . Isn't modern technology wonderful when it works , who could have dreamt of having the stuff we take for granted say 20 years ago.

After a few mild winters in a row , I'm surprised by how cold it is- 4c here .., yes feck all compared to some .
