My five favourite American descriptors for those of us who do know it all and are superior in attitude, importance, ability, gravitas, or intellect:

1 - an Einstein
2 - a brainiac
3 - a smart cookie
4 - a whiz
5 - genius

Just saying.

My five favourite British descriptors for those of you who think you know it all and are deluded in attitude, importance, ability, gravitas, or intellect:

1 - Tosser
2 - Knob head
3 - Git
4 - Plonker
5 - Wazzock
The longer this century goes on, the more I feel I belong in the last one.

I can't believe that somebody who thinks WHIPLASH is a better film than DOWNFALL actually got the best half hour of UK TV comedy correct.

To be honest, you must have read somewhere that the "Bambi" episode of "The Young Ones" was great. No way did you come up with that yourself. Come on, come clean. You Googled it, right?

Top 5 half hour episodes of UK TV comedy...

The Young Ones - 'Bambi'

I can't believe that somebody who thinks WHIPLASH is a better film than DOWNFALL actually got the best half hour of UK TV comedy correct.

To be honest, you must have read somewhere that the "Bambi" episode of "The Young Ones" was great. No way did you come up with that yourself. Come on, come clean. You Googled it, right?

Oh, Space, Space, my dear witless chum... where do I start?

You keep on needling me.  Maybe you think I'm humbled by that moment a little while ago when I apologised for something I misunderstood on one of your posts.  Not at all, old son.  I still remember the PM's you sent me.  Showed your true character.  Something I've never forgotten and never will, so get that concept out of your head.  Or is was just the usual Space 'fun'?

I don't want to start a big Forum argument that means that Viv has to get involved, like we're naughty kids who need to be sent to detention, like the bloody Breakfast Club or something.  That guys got better things to do.  I remember how unpleasant that whole thing got, mainly (but not always, I admit) thanks to your fine self.

For the record, I never said that Whiplash was better than Downfall and I didn't get that 'Young Ones' episode off the internet, it's a cherished memory of when I truly appreciated what new and fresh UK comedy could do.  Understand that?

Space, you're the internet equivalent of a guy who walks into a room, farts loudly, wafts it around and walks out with a big smirk on his face.  And I will never have the slightest trace of respect for you.

Sorry, Viv.  Fell for the trolling, didn't I?   :-[

Top Five Qualities Of Whirlwind

1. he is open-minded - Means ****-all in the grand scheme of things, a man who molests badgers
2. he has an IQ of 148 (genius level is rated at 140)
3. he is funny
4. he knows DOWNFALL is a better film than WHIPLASH
5. he is better than Space

1. he is open-minded - Means ****-all in the grand scheme of things, a man who molests badgers and licks bicycle seats could regard himself in the same context... 'it's not considered normal?  Well, I'm open-minded'!
2. he has an IQ of 148 (genius level is rated at 140)  And we've got your word for that, I see nothing to indicate anything of the sort.  Did your parents have you tested as to your IQ?  Or sociopathy (which sounds more like you...)?
3. he is funny  Dude, you're really not.  Most folks here would agree.
4. he knows DOWNFALL is a better film than WHIPLASH  Still banging on about that?  See a previous comment of mine...
5. he is better than Space  For fooks sake..  ::)
