5. Moose Harris

Hard to pick a top 5 as all members, for however long they were there, have played a part in the growth of the band

Personally the line up they have now is the strongest they've been, both Marshall and more so Ceri have brought much more to the sound of the band

As I said this is MY view and I don't claim it be to be the ONLY AND CORRECT view
Is is a crime to believe in something different?

I meant what I said at the time that I said it

No argument, but what attracted me to NMA back in the beginning was the bass. An instrumentalist in a band can be the focal point. Example: One could say Morrissey is the face and voice of The Smiths, but what is the first attraction to The Smiths? Johnny Marr's guitar. Same with New Model Army. Sure Justin is the frontman, the voice, the songwriter...but it is the bass on those first records that made many pay attention to that band.

As for a band having three bass players? Heck, Ned's Atomic Dustbin weren't a bad band and they had two bass players. Maybe they would have been better with three.

Your follow up comment to your list is fair enough Space. I think most here started listening to the band first hearing the phenomenal sound of Morrow's bass. But a list of top 5 members with anyone other than JS at the top is a bit beyond credibility. I would very much doubt any band member past or present would put anyone other than JS at the top. The only likely other person to put someone other than JS at the top of the list would be  JS himself, as to me at least he seems to be a very humble chap unconcerned about such prestige.
I would have to agree with Bunny. The current line-up is top 5 as at this time they are faultless as a live band and are recording some of the bands best work.  -- in my opinion.

Michael Caine films. Not easy as he has done so bloody many. Some superb, some absolute howlers. I don't think he cares, he just likes making films.

My 5

The man who would be king
Zulu
Alfie
Harry Brown
Educating Rita

And that list is the absolute fact based on solid research, any other opinion is just boll,,,,,

No, whats your favourite Caine 5 ?

Too many to choose from!  That constant battle against 'best' as opposed to films that 'aren't that good but you really enjoyed...'   :(

For me it's...

The Man Who Would Be King
Get Carter
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Educating Rita
Blame It On Rio (I know, it's a bit crap, but very funny as well!)   :-[

Listing Morrow as number one is not beyond credibility if one considers their first few tracks and their first two albums the band's finest hour.

Peter Gabriel was not a member of Genesis for very long (and certainly not there when that band went supernova), but most people would list Gabriel as #1 on their list of top Genesis members. He was the main cog for their finest work. Same with Morrow.
